Introducing the Vortex Comp Spec, our all-new high-performance micro crawler chassis designed specifically for Class 2 and Class 3 competition. Built around the trusted SCX24 platform, this chassis is compatible with both OEM and aftermarket axles, giving you full flexibility in your custom builds.

This isn’t just another frame – it’s the result of a full competition season of development. We debuted the Vortex prototype during the 2025 NordicCrawl Summer Championship, refining the skid, sliders, and link geometry with every race. What you get now is a precision-engineered chassis that’s dialed in for balance, clearance, and crawl performance.

To hit the sweet spot in terms of weight distribution and crawlability, we recommend the Gens Ace 200mAh 3S LiPo, which fits perfectly in the front battery tray. For motors, top choices include the Hobbywing Fusion 1621, Furitek Micro Komodo, Furitek Venom, or any similarly sized outrunner. ESCs like the DinkyRC Micro, Furitek Lizard Micro, or Hobbywing QuicRun WP24 are all solid options.

While the kit does not include link rods, every customer will receive a digital link template used in our personal race builds, so you can fabricate your own set with confidence.

For Class 2/3, with a 63–64mm tire diameter, a wheelbase of 160–162mm offers optimal performance. Use the following link and driveshaft lengths as guidelines.
